Nacional claimed a comfortable victory against Boston River in the Uruguayan Primera Division on Thursday, cruising to a 3-1 win.
The home side took the lead in the 20th minute when Gigliotti capitalised on an assist from D. WEB. Boston River fought hard to get back into the game but were unable to find a breakthrough, and Nacional extended their lead in the second half with goals from Fagundez and Bergessio.
Despite a late consolation goal from Boston River's Emiliano Rodriguez, Nacional held on to secure all three points. The win moves Nacional up to second place in the league table, while Boston River remain in 10th position.
The match was played at the Estadio Gran Parque Central in Montevideo and was watched by a crowd of over 15,000 fans.
